There are a large number of disorders present which are related to the eyes. Some of the disorders related to the eye include long sightedness, short sightedness, Hypermetropia and many more. One such disorder is known as Amblyopia which is considered to be an impaired vision in the eye that appears to be normal. This problem is also characterized and associated with the structural abnormalities of the eyes. Amblyopia is a problem which has managed to affect more than 1.5% of the entire population all around the world.
Problems faced with the problem of Amblyopia
When suffering from the problem of Amblyopia, the visual stimulation of the eyes either is poorly transmitted to the brain or it fails to transmit the optic nerve to the brain in the most perfect manner. This is a problem which might also occur when the brain turns off the visual procession of one eye and also prevents the problem of double vision. In most of the patients, this problem affects only one of the eyes, whereas the other eye is not affected at all.
